For over a decade SBID has represented, promoted and protected the interests of practicing interior designers in industry, government and trade, creating a widely recognised benchmark for professional standards with its first-to-market Accreditation criteria – defined by an interior designer’s education, experience and ongoing industry training for continued professional development. Committed to advancing industry standards and promoting professional conduct, SBID provide a route for professionals and trainees to improve career prospects. Alongside SBID’s mission to represent interior design excellence across the commercial and residential sectors, its annual International Design Awards showcase the world’s best design talent on its globally respected stage, while its’ wide-ranging activities, partnerships and collaborations have helped SBID reach and engage with influential experts to support its mission for industry growth.
