Love To Table is an exquisitely crafted “free” restaurant with an entirely new aim: to bring the experience of dining, connection, and nourishment to those who are hungry. OUR PHILOSOPHY We know that at the root of all suffering is a hunger - for basic physiological needs like food and shelter, and more invisible needs like love and connection. Our vision is to open a space that satisfies them all. A home where any person can get their most basic needs met in such a way that they are actually nourished. We believe that service is a two-sided relationship where both people are receiving. We are not offering a hand out from a superior position. Rather we are in a connected relationship where we know we are getting the greatest gift simply by offering. We pour out from our abundance and fill up others, and in that, show them that Our food comes from organic gardens in Mendocino County. The 28-year-old two acre garden and orchard were originally designed and built by part of the Findhorn community. In the shape of a mandala, the beds are aligned with the mooncycle in order to enhance the growth of the plants. Vegetables are mixed in with flowers and perrenials to keep the soil healthy, and it hosts a mix of native California plantings and pollinator plants. Located at the heart of the Navarro River in Anderson Valley, it has been maintained primarily as a French bio-intensive hand-dug garden. Our food is tended and harvested by hand with love. Our garden is home to both expert gardeners with a wealth of experience and garden apprentices-in-training learning the craft of the land. We supplement our harvest with the highest quality organic dry goods and meats for maximum nutritional value and minimal processing.
