Legacy Sports Group (LSG) was founded in 2011 with the consulting arm, Team Knox Strategies. At that time, the organization’s efforts were focused primarily on helping guide Conventions and Visitors Bureaus (CVBs) and Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs) through strategic planning exercises in order to evaluate the bene ts of expanding into the sports tourism industry. In 2019 LSG acquired several small companies and expanded our scope of services to include facility management and event management. LSG is comprised of a team who comprehensively has over 60 years of experience in the tourism industry; more speci cally in sports tourism, event management, and venue management. This extensive background sets us apart from many other companies because of our ability to cater to various groups and pull from diverse backgrounds related to the sports tourism industry as a whole.
