Built into the Victorian cellars below Brighton Railway Station, the museum hosts one of the the world's most important public displays of toy and model collections, including unsurpassed public collections of Hornby Trains and Hornby Dublo and a reference collection of the products of Bassett-Lowke Ltd. The museum's displayed collections cover the classic historic British brands of the first half of the Twentieth Century including Meccano, Pelham Puppets and Britains lead figures, as well as European marques such as Steiff, Bing, Georges Carette and Märklin.
