Cultivating a better food system means rolling up our sleeves and getting our hands dirty. At Greener Partners, we use a full-circle approach: providing fresh food access, healthy eating education, and training to the next generation of farmers using sustainable and organic practices. We build community and a sense of place through these activities, strengthening our local economy and increasing the overall health of our community. Our innovative farm education programs are created and led by farmers and use fresh food. Students of all ages have the opportunity to smell, touch, harvest and taste the freshest food, and to create delicious recipes which ignite enthusiasm for healthy eating. Our FARM EXPLORER trucks travel as living mobile farms throughout the Philadelphia area, bringing our education programs to inner city youth.
