Our founders Chandy Jones and Qwenyona Evans are the sisters of, now deceased, James Scurlock. JSSA's goal is to continue James' vision in supporting youth athletics. Our mission is to help youth strive for excellence in academics, athletics, and community involvement. James believed that you should be able to compete at a higher level regardless of financial barriers. JSSA, and the board of directors, will do everything in its power to fulfill James' vision and beliefs.
