The Cornell Model United Nations Conference (CMUNC) is hosted annually by the Cornell International Affairs Society (CIAS) in scenic Ithaca, New York. Each year we strive to produce an innovative and engaging high school conference. And through the years, we are proud to say, CMUNC has grown and blossomed into a conference centered on the delegate experience. We seek to promote awareness of international issues and contemporary topics through high-level debate and discussion. We are able to create this unique experience for our delegates through dynamic and diverse committees featuring our continued focus on the delegate experience. This emphasis on the delegate experience extends outside the committee rooms as well for CMUNC offers community service projects, Cornell campus tours and social events to make the weekend even more memorable. Our well-trained staff, consisting of hard-working Cornell students, works tirelessly all year in order to put on a conference of an extremely high caliber. The conference proudly hosts over 800 high school students every year. We are extremely excited for the next session of CMUNC to be called to order April 19-22, 2018.
