THA is managed by the volunteer Board of Directors, with funding from tax-deductible contributions and sale of THA books/products. It is a membership organization. THA's first mission is assisting in many restoration projects and donating important items to the Department, totaling over $750,000. THA's second mission is providing education through its noontime lecture program in the Treasury Building Cash Room and THA's books: "Fortress of Finance: The United States Treasury Building" and "Birthplace of Bureaus: The United States Treasury Department."
