EAF's work is anchored on feminist and human rights principles. It was established to address the SOGI communities' practical and strategic needs across a range of development issues in Asia. Our mission is to address blind spots in SOGI programming by partnering and co-creating solutions with community organisations in the region. The Foundation will incubate innovations for inclusion and support communities access resources to accelerate successful models on the ground. EAF will also collaborate with donors, policymakers, government bodies, businesses, academics and UN agencies to build a more woke ecosystem around these issues. The Foundation is committed to developing an architecture of partnership and solidarity, that truly fosters sharing and learning. For the period 2019 - 2022, EAF will focus on the following thematic areas: - Inclusion in humanitarian action; - improving mental health and well-being; - care strategies for ageing rainbow communities; and - poverty and financial inclusion Our practice areas are policy analysis, community centred research, evidence-based advocacy, small pilot implementation, capacity building and other strategic consulting services to assist community organisations and other stakeholders to scale up pilots.
