Mountain Midwifery is Colorado's premiere birth center, a non-hospital, yet State-licensed medical facility supporting birth, including water birth, and women's health (Gyn). Open since 2006, the center has supported over 1500 births. The center is operated independently by midwives (Certified Nurse Midwives, a form or Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Practice Nurse). We partner in-house with other health providers (MD, Chiropractic, Breastfeeding Consulting, and more) This page will be used to share updates about us, including events, news, etc. We are nationally accredited by the Commission for the Accreditation of Birth Centers to the standards of the American Association of Birth Centers.
