Merion Golf Club is a private golf club located in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. The Club has two courses: the East Course and the West Course. The East Course has been consistently rated by Golf Digest as among America's greatest golf courses. Merion has hosted 18 USGA Championships, more than any other club, including five U.S. Opens. Most recently, Merion hosted the 2013 U.S. Open Championship. The club has a reputation for the finest food in the Main Line area of Western Philadelphia Suburbs and the facility is currently undergoing construction of a major addition to its food and beverage department. Merion Golf Club is a Distinguished Emerald Club as recognized by BoardRoom Magazine and a Platinum Club.
