Recently Brown was added to the Eden Alternative Registry, affirming that it has evolutionary skills and a deep trust in the wisdom of the Elders it serves. Every employee has deepened his or her focus on the core person-directed values—choice, dignity, respect, self-determination, and purposeful living—to create a vibrant, life-affirming environment where each person matters and everyone has opportunities for growth, regardless of age or ability. Brown is the only Eden Alternative facility in Pickaway county. For more than a century, Brown Memorial Home has provided residents of Pickaway County with nursing home services in a family atmosphere. Brown Memorial Home is church affiliated and the only nonprofit elderly care facility in Pickaway Country.
