Waverly High School has approximately 450 students grades 9-12, offering countless opportunities for students grow and gain inspiration while being prepared for their future. WHS features advanced placement courses with college credit through the Corning Community College Accelerated College Education (ACE) program in calculus, economics, chemistry, English and foreign languages. Competitive academic opportunities are abundant, including FIRST Robotics, College Invitational Math Competition, Scholarship Challenge and Chemistry Bowl teams. Fine arts, which include photography, ceramics and both instrumental and vocal music opportunities that are strong and feature participation in All County and Area All State. We feature a state of the art work based learning program that includes community internships as well as a strong school bases enterprise through the Wolverine Den. The Den feature a fully functioning coffee shop, computer help desk, special events and catering division, concessions, and a student branch of the IRFCU. This crown jewel of the Waverly Central School District is student managed and features a robust learning environment where students gain the work and life skills needed for success after high school.
