Who We Are John Cannon - Founder My Car Doc has been in business since 2004. Before that, I ran one of those Lube-in-a-Box type places for three years that specializes in trying to strong-arm their customers into buying more than they intended and wanted. After a long-standing difference of opinion on the RIGHT way to do business, I finally left that big business to form my own company where I could treat customers right, where I could feel like I was actually helping someone. Here at My Car Doc, we treat our customers like people, not like an ATM machine like my previous employer does. We don’t spend a lot of money on fancy advertising, TV or radio commercials, or huge billboards. Our business speaks for itself. Our customers tell their friends and coworkers about us. Our reputation as a locally-owned small business that treats people right is exactly the goal we had in mind when My Car Doc first formed.
