Databeers is a non-profit organization with the aim to create a world-wide community of data lovers. We organize public events to share interesting, fun and/or challenging data based stories in an informal and relaxed way, with the best social lubricant: beer. The main objective is to make state of the art results and methods in Data Science accessible to a wider audience in a conducing atmosphere, creating a melting pot of scientists, developers, big companies, government, artists, tech entrepreneurs and general members of public. Successfully born in Madrid in 2014, Databeers has spread across the world with now 25+ chapters across cities and approx. 100-160 participant per event. The chapters are independent but all share the same philosophy.
