It was from a pediatrician’s careful eye during Nicholas’s two-year-old wellness check-up in June 2021 that cancer changed our lives forever. Nicholas was diagnosed with a rare subset of non-Ds Acute Megakaryoblastic Leukemia (AMKL); at the time we didn’t yet know we only had 10 months left with him. We will forever grieve that we didn’t have enough time with Nicholas, but in the time we do have left, we are on a mission to support the doctors, nurses, and researchers find just that: more time. More time for these oncology patients to be kids. More time for Moms and Dads to hold their babies. More time for families and friends to have and love these kids on this side of heaven. 100% of Foundation proceeds go directly to The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and The Jimmy Fund.
