John owned and operated the Austin Hill Inn for almost 15 years and hosted murder mystery weekends for 14 of those – averaging 20 weekends per year. At first it seemed a great way to fill the rooms during the slow times in the Spring and November, but, despite the hard work, John fell absolutely head over heels with the weekends and the mystery weekends soon became the main focus of the inn.
