We are committed to intersectional gender equality for all women in all kinds of further education, skills and lifelong learning. The Women's Leadership Network (WLN) has been advocating and advancing women's leadership in further education since 1990. We've changed a lot in that time. We may have kept the name 'WLN', but we have changed how we do it. We've ditched bureaucracy for action and evolved into a time-efficient affinity group and CIC that brings an intersectional lens to gender equality in all of further education: Modelling what we demand; striving to amplify the voices of those women who are least listened to; advocating for and achieving change in the workplace and redefining leadership. We campaign, carry out research and deliver training. #EnoughIsEnoughFE is our campaign to end sexual violence and harassment in all kinds of further education. Our research projects include: #NiceGirlsDontTalkAboutMoney_Apparently and #PaintTheElephantInTheRoom. Every woman involved in the WLN CIC has an equal voice and responsibility for participating in decision-making and taking action—sharing if and when we need to take time out professionally and personally and understanding this without question.
