Sanocloud Inc.
stage.sanocloud.comIt was through our inability to find a single Healthcare specific cloud provider, being forced to work with Amazon, Google and Azure cloud services multiple times and having to pay huge amounts of money for both monthly usage fees plus the expensive talent time to manage it, that led to our conceiving and implementing our solution which we call Sanocloud. Because we had to build and run our own HIPAA cloud based on NIST standard in our sister company for over 9 years, we understood the market gap and the core need that had to be addressed. It’s hard to imagine that the problem still exists, and nothing has changed materially in the marketplace in the intervening years but it’s true. Getting a BAA signed with a Cloud hosting service, setting up the services to secure and manage it going forward still takes lots of money, specialized skill and ongoing diligence. For example, look at Amazon’s and Azure’s Pricing calculators, you can see the complexity involved yourself. Can a typical healthcare user or IT professional (unless he is a DevOps expert) figure what needs to be ordered and know how to configure it and then how to manage it going forward? This is where we come in.
