The Women’s Environment and Development Organization (WEDO) is an international women’s organization whose mission is to ensure that women’s rights, gender equality, and environmental, social and economic justice are at the heart of policies, programs and practices at all levels. WEDO works to achieve its mission through strong and consistent advocacy, awareness raising, networking, and capacity building.
