We’re a team of digital media and education professionals who understand that the newest filmmakers will set the future standard for video techniques, gear, and mediums. We empower video teachers with classroom resources, video students with innovative ideas, and video novices with digestible info and accessible gear. Stream Semester is a continuation of School Video News, the leading publication dedicated to the broadcast, film, and production educators and students. School Video News was founded in 2007 by John Churchman, who had the vision to connect teachers with the best resources in the industry. After John’s passing in 2020, Stream Semester was born to continue his legacy.
