Crafting Heroes, LLC is a social impact business that creates workforce development opportunities for high school students by providing technology internships. We match organizations’ projects with our students to provide technology internships that support the development of the student's skills, knowledge, confidence, and portfolio. Our operations support sponsoring organizations and schools by delivering experiences that further their mission to train and educate others. The projects result in quality software generated using novel technologies known as Extended Reality (XR) that can be applied for educational and training purposes. We are changing the game for XR development by empowering high school students to develop XR experiences for authentic clients/partners. We focus on developing educational content for the HoloLens 2 and the Oculus Quest to make interactive adventures for the Metaverse in our breakout project: HoloQuest. Students emerge from our program with the confidence and empowerment to solve the world's most challenging problems.
