The history of our Name is dated three centuries ago, when the Pellegrini family started extracting the “Rosso Verona” marble in Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella (Verona, Italy). 
 In 1957 Marco Pellegrini, for decades chairman and then honorary chairman of the Pellegrini group, designed and assembled the first machines to ease the processes in the family quarry. Being quite innovative products, they were immediately adopted by other quarrymen and La Sant’Ambrogio (this was the name at that time) grew rapidly. Elena Pellegrini, Marco’s youngest daughter, has been leading Pellegrini Meccanica SpA since 2002. Sharing the vision of her charismatic father, she has further developed the company strategy with the precious support and cooperation of valuable engineers, technicians and salespeople. Under her guide, the company has increased its team of engineers, technological experts and geologists to come up with designs new innovative solutions for the market.
