Brevard Prevention Coalition's goal is to improve the quality of life for youth and families in Brevard County. We will work to reduce youth substance abuse, increase school-based prevention programs, increase the coalition’s ability to recruit youths to participate, host its own youth substance abuse awareness events, produce youth substance abuse prevention social marketing materials, support law enforcement efforts at reducing underage drinking, and provide more training opportunities for its membership. To do so, we aim to strengthen collaboration and coordination among nonprofit agencies, faith-based organizations, law enforcement and governmental agencies, and businesses to support the coalition’s efforts. Through the collaboration of these local organizations, we expect to see long-term, positive results in Brevard County.
