Founded in 2011, Grow to School CIC exists to give children and families greater access to the outside for learning, exploration, and discovery. Based in Huddersfield, Grow to School works with schools and communities across Yorkshire and beyond to: Deliver outdoor learning programmes in schools as a means of enhancing the curriculum. Deliver teacher training and provide resources that help schools take learning outside. Support schools and communities to grow, cook and eat fresh healthy food and engage with the natural environment. Established by Ama Chaney and Zana Wood, we now have a team of experienced practitioners, including trained teachers. We deliver sessions in primary schools with children and staff.
