PURPOSE: The NIRC acts as the principal advocate for improved legislation and case law to protect consumers and contractors when dealing with insurance claims throughout the nation. The NIRC serves the common interest of insurance restoration contractors and protects consumers from unethical contractors. The NIRC certified contractors go through an extensive company background check to become members of what is considered the Diamond Standard code of business. The NIRC as a self regulated entity cooperates with the departments of insurance and other regulatory authorities through out the United States to improve the standards and image of the industry through education and high standards of conduct. MISSION: The mission of the NIRC is to act as the insurance restoration industries principal advocate for improved legislation and case law to protect the consumers and contractors when dealing with insurance companies.
