The DeGroote Finance Association (DFA) is one of the largest and most enduring clubs at McMaster University. It attracts over 300 undergraduate business students as members every year and the club’s establishment dates back to 1985. The DFA operates events from September through April every year and these are focused on providing learning and networking opportunities with financial institutions for students interested in pursuing a career in the field of finance. The association operates under the DeGroote Commerce Society and is sponsored by faculty, supported by the Centre for Business Career Development, and lead by a team of undergraduate business students.
