Prestwick Aviation Maintenance, a registered company is a start-up aircraft maintenance business situated at Prestwick International Airport, whose raison d’être is based on the demand for high quality regional airliner and support to the aircraft leasing community for aircraft maintenance and the associated services. Prestwick Airport (www.gpia.co.uk) with a high reputation for its infrastructure and services is an attractive location for, not least, the availability of ready-made facilities, land area, large source of skilled labour a favourable climate for continuous operations, and unrestricted 24-hour operation. Prestwick Aviation Maintenance, through a network of Service Level Agreements will be able to provide a complete maintenance package, including off-aircraft component maintenance by leading component overhaul providers; it is our intention to act as a facilitator to ensure contracted customers receive appropriate and cost effective maintenance solutions. Our initial approval will cover A320 family, BAe 146/RJ, Boeing 737 all variants and Embraer 170/190 aircraft; additional aircraft can be added subject to variation to the EASA Part 145 Schedule of Approval.
