BidAid is a silent auction service provider based in the wonderful capital city of Cardiff, helping businesses and non-profit organisations raise money for causes close to their hearts. Having supported charities of all shapes and sizes, our mission is to provide all the tools needed to smash fundraising targets; having raised millions of pounds in our first few years of business. As the brainchild of international Olympic athlete, Jamie Baulch, the business was born following his retirement in 2005, wanting to make a name for himself in the world of modern business. Blending his charitable nature with his strive for success, Jamie started working closely with the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU), licensing the official Welsh Rugby Calendar. Credited for his work on the project, he then created framed WRU memorabilia, distributing Welsh items all over the world. Dipping his toe into the fascinating world of memorabilia, he then worked closely with Jaguar Academy of Sport and the English Rugby Union, producing official signed prints. As things grew, he quickly identified a gap in the market; a full-service silent auctioning company with its own memorabilia! Over the last few years the business has come on leaps and bounds, with BidAid now producing film, music and sporting memorabilia and experiences for charities, fundraising organisations and event managers.
