Ch. Charan Singh National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (NIAM) is a premier autonomous Institute set up by the Government of India in August, 1988 to offer specialized training, research, education and consultancy in the field of Agricultural Marketing. NIAM offers two-year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Agri-Business Management (PGDM-ABM) started in 2001. PGDABM is full time 2 years residential programme approved by AICTE for agriculture and allied graduates. The programme churns out professionals to cater the needs of various sectors viz. Agri processing, Agri-input/output marketing, Pharmaceuticals, Plantation, Export-import, Commodity trading, Agri-warehousing & logistic, Micro-finance, Rural Banking, Agri-Business consultancy, FMCG/Retailing etc. National & Multinational industries are associated with NIAM for their requirement of best in class resource pool, can be placed in middle as well as top management to bridge the prerequisite of sectoral competencies. Students are also attached with private as well as govt organizations for Summer internship (April-June) as well as Winter internship (Oct-Nov). NIAM has mature pedigree of Alumnus since 2003, serving agriculture & allied industries globally.
