It received funding from Y-Combinator the Mountain View, CA based group that also invested in Door Dash, Dropbox, and Airbnb, and has been voted Top Innovation by a panel of expert surgeons at SAGES (Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons). It also was the past runner-up in the MedTech Innovator contest out of over 600 companies from around the world, and took home top prize at the 2020 Texas A&M New Ventures Competition.
