MONA was created to put an end to illegal trafficking, exploitation and abuse of captive primates and to highlight their current situation and risk of extintion. MONA has established one of the few rescue centers in Europe that provides a home for life to chimpanzees and other rescued primates. Here they can live in a natural environment and we can learn to better understand them and show them they respect they deserve.
