The Ohio State Underwater Robotics Team
www.uwrt.clubThe Underwater Robotics Team is an interdisciplinary student project team that specializes in the design, construction, and operation of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs). Students from a variety of majors are responsible for every aspect of building the vehicles, including machining the housings, soldering the circuit boards, and developing the software. These vehicles are designed for the purpose of competing in the international AUVSI RoboSub competition held annually in San Diego, California. Additionally, the team presents their robots at a number of STEM outreach events in the Columbus community as a way of giving back and generating interest in the field of robotics.
