Purple America US

www.purpleamerica.us

At the heart and soul of America are the values of its people. Strong values, common values that transcend red-state, blue-state color-coding, transcend geography, race, religion, ethnicity, or economic status. Those common values unite us, inspire us, and give us hope. Over the past three years, Purple America has conducted almost 1,000 face-to-face interviews across this nation to explore their values. Common to all were these twelve: Faith, Family, Freedom, Equality, Opportunity, Doing the Right Thing, Love and Respect, Community, Giving Back, Self-Expression, the Good Life, and Success. Our mission is to showcase Americans living those core values and promote a civil dialogue among all Americans to build a better nation on common ground. Purple America is a national initiative of Project Love® Remember the Children Foundation, a non-partisan, non-political character-building program that has trained more than 50,000 American teens and 2,000 educators to build a culture of kindness, caring and respect.
