Marlow Guitar International Incorporated (MGI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity, began and was incorporated in the District of Columbia in 1980 and as of 2015, is now incorporated in the state of Maryland. (Formerly known until 2017 as International Conservatory of Music.) Creating Community Through Music : Drawing people together for entertainment, education, and inspiration. Mission: Bringing people together to experience classical guitar music from around the world through performances, classes, scholarship competitions and national tours. The MGI’s programs create community centered around music, enriching the lives of the residents of metropolitan Washington, DC. In the past 37years, MGI has presented over 150 events, co-sponsoring with universities, embassies, Federal Government agencies, Public School systems, and other community and cultural organizations.
