Technicians: often have a specialty skill or knowledge in one or more areas of show production. They may be receiving a higher pay rate for their skills, which may allow them to invest in training classes that apply to their skillset. . Top Engineers often hold positions such as A1, V1, ME, etc., That require greater responsibilities. Engineers will often train on the latest technology and industry best practices to keep them at the cutting edge of their field. Why This Matters [ AV Educate ] is open to all 3 levels of AV professional, Stagehand, Technician, and Engineer in any chosen path. Our format allows for interactive Q&A that sparks conversation and the sharing of knowledge and experiences among the members of our community.
