WorkSteps is a micro-services framework that provides a simple way to create, deploy and monitor automated tasks and integrations. Not everything can be off the shelf, every business needs custom batch jobs, scripts and integrations that are unique to them; so we set out to create WorkSteps, an environment and methodology that makes integrations and batch processes consistent , reliable, easy to manage and affordable. Founded in 2017, WorkSteps' three principles, Rick Perks, Matt McRobbie, and James Cole have years of experience in software development, systems architecture and project management, and in almost all the businesses we've worked with we see the same pain points occurring with monotonous regularity. Batch processes and integrations, often handling data critical to the business are poorly written, poorly understood and prone to failure. Existing business process automation software and iPAAS services are expensive and often complex placing them out of reach for many businesses. We researched what would be needed to make it easy to do things the right way, be easy for your internal development team to use, easy for Ops to monitor and manage and robust enough to gracefully handle failures.
