Henne Jewelers is the jeweler for life by providing exceptional service and beautiful, unique jewelry so that our clients can demonstrate their love and appreciation or their own sense of style. Our mission is to strengthen and enhance relationships. Voted Best Jewelry Store in Pittsburgh!!! Founded in 1887 by Rudolph Joseph Henne, the owner's reputation as a superior watch repairman helped the business to prosper and grow through the early part of the Twentieth Century. In 1934, Rudolph Gerard Henne inherited the business from his father. Keeping the business afloat through both the Great Depression and World War II proved challenging, but, despite some tough times, Rudolph kept the business going and passed it on to his son, John (Jack) Henne in 1975. In 1978, Jack moved the store from its original location in Pittsburgh's East Liberty section to the fashionable Shadyside neighborhood. As the business grew, so did the need for additional space and, in 2003, Henne Jewelers moved into its current 3500 sq. ft. retail showroom at 5501 Walnut Street. Today, fourth generation Henne family member John Henne manages all business operations, aided by his parents, Jack and Nancy Henne, who continue to take an active role.
