The foundation of our counseling strategy is to design a program based on individual needs. All possible factors (biological, psychological, social, legal, developmental) that can contribute to your problem(s) are taken into account, and worked on in the order of severity and influence they have on what is causing problems in your life. There are many therapeutic styles and treatment modalities out there (e.g. CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Solution Focused...too many to name), each one reacts to each individual. A skilled therapist, just like a skilled psychiatrist, will know how to adjust their interventions as needed to provide the client with the best possible outcome, and keep the momentum of recovery going.
