Marissa Spencer is the owner and founder of Fusion Consulting, a firm that works with small businesses and solo entrepreneurs on strategy, planning, business development and problem solving. Marissa comes to this role with both theoretical and hands-on experience. She completed her master’s degree in Organizational Development after receiving degrees in counseling, and has also been running her own successful small businesses for almost a decade. She is able to explore client businesses holistically, having served in every role from sales to strategic planning to employee engagement. As a Small Business Coach-Consultant, Marissa actively listens to her client’s unique stressors and pain points, and helps them create a program that not only fits their needs, but helps them feel confident and excited as business owners. Marissa’s definition of success is helping others succeed. In addition to Fusion Consulting, Marissa, an artist and stylist, has launched The Urban Collective, a mixed-use space for studios and exhibitions, as well as Fusion Salon. This combination of deep personal experience, creative and artistic influences, and the latest techniques in entrepreneurship make Marissa a perfect support and resource center for every client.
