Forus is a novel finance and sales company that develops services to stop climate-change profitably. We design, finance and implement solar power plants on the roof or plot of customer’s properties. Our growing customer base includes several Finland's largest property owners. Forus makes profitable solutions for all sides of the agreement. We create a solar power portfolio offering an opportunity for a sensible climate investment. As the owner, we bear the technical risk of the project and take responsibility for maintenance, as well as monitoring the power plant's electricity yield. The user only pays for the electricity generated by the power plant. Over the contract period, the customer redeems the power plant investment in a neutral to positive cash flow. After the contract period, a free power plant can generate up to another million euros in savings on a large roof. In the same contract, we can combine other emission reduction solutions, such as heat pumps, energy-efficient cooling and led-lighting. While mapping for energy solutions we often find other saving opportunities within the customers real estate portfolio. For example, we provide property tax consultancy services.
