Confidence is achievable when we make ourselves courageous and vulnerable by stepping into fear. Anyone can be taught to hold their own at the front of the room. It’s not a right reserved for the privileged few. It’s starts with a dare. A dare to be more and STAND TALL. If you dare to try you have what it takes to pursue this endeavor. It’s not for the faint of heart. There will be ups and downs. When you learn to accept yourself for all that you are and all that you aren’t you’ll extend yourself the grace to be human at the front of the room. Perfectionists beware! We work on this in our training programs. Many training programs leave out the ‘being’ portion of confidence and hope that you figure it out in the process. They focus on the ‘doing’ of public speaking and presenting. Their six-step process is only half the picture. We are interested in what you believe about yourself as a leader? What do you believe about your audience? How does your message make a difference to them? What is the meaning behind what you are saying? If we can uncover these things as well as what your head is telling you in the heat of the moment, we can achieve great results. Our goal is always to get ‘you’ to be ‘you’ at the front of the room. When you can do that the technical part of speaking becomes natural.
