U.N.I.T.E is a non profit organization that focuses on giving college students with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to represent their college while playing sports. U.N.I.T.E started out at a small christian college just outside the city of Rochester, NY. Roberts Wesleyan College was the birth place of the U.N.I.T.E program as the students on campus with disabilities wanted to be like their colleagues and play sports and wear Redhawks apparel. U.N.I.T.E is now focused on growing this program outside of Roberts Wesleyan College to different colleges around New York State and hopefully someday around the country. We are currently in the start up stages and are looking at growing.
