Located on the outskirts of Leeds, we are a multi award-winning manufacturer and installer of high-quality, bespoke glass reinforced gypsum and fibrous plasterwork. For over 25 years, we have been a trusted supplier to some of the country’s most prestigious construction companies including Vinci Construction UK, Sir Robert McAlpine Construction Ltd and Wates Construction, supporting the restoration, redevelopment and design of a variety of visually stunning projects across the retail, commercial property and leisure sectors. Inheriting its name from its roots, Ryedale Interiors Ltd was first formed in 1996 on a small industrial estate in the district of Ryedale, North Yorkshire. Founder David Brook, an experienced fibrous plasterer, single-handedly aided the company’s growth during the first two years, building a client base and heading up a number of commercial projects across the UK, before appointing co-owner Roger Hannon in 1998. An experienced surveyor and senior estimator, Roger brought a wealth of experience and knowledge in the area of fibrous plasterwork, as well as a loyal client database from his time leading the fibrous plastering division at Johnson Brothers - a well-established Leeds-based ceiling contractor. Roger and David worked together to expand the company, increasing the turnover from £200k per annum to around £485k during their first year of partnering. Following this increased demand for the manufacture of Ryedale’s specialist plasterwork and glass reinforced gypsum, David and Roger moved the thriving company to a larger industrial unit in Beeston, Leeds in 2001, where they worked together until David’s retirement in 2014. Today Roger heads up our team of 20 employees alongside contracts manager Joe Markey and boasts an impressive portfolio of large-scale GRG and fibrous plasterwork projects such as Barton Square at Intu Trafford Centre, Resorts World Birmingham and The Majestic, Leeds.
