The Center for Computational Finance and Economic Systems (CoFES) is dedicated to the quantitative study of financial markets and economic systems and their ultimate impact on society. Founded in 2002, CoFES represents a cooperative effort between Rice University's George R. Brown School of Engineering, Jones Graduate School of Business, and School of Social Sciences. Through efforts in research and education, CoFES is advancing the boundaries of modeling and computational science in this important arena.
