Langley House Trust is an innovative Christian charity that provides specialist housing, care, support and advice services in the community and in prisons for offenders seeking to live crime-free. Since 1958 we have earned an enviable reputation for reducing reoffending with proven results. Regardless of a person’s history, our passion is to change every life for the better, working with people of all faiths and none. Our approach is to systematically address the nine areas of vulnerability identified by the UK government as the factors that influence reoffending: education; employment; drug and alcohol misuse; mental and physical health; attitudes and self-control; institutionalisation and life-skills; housing; financial support and debt; and community and family networks. Consequently, we successfully work with some of the most challenging and complex individuals in the Criminal Justice System. Our results speak for themselves. We currently have a 2.6% reconviction rate whilst people are in our care.
