The mission of the Pegasus Program’s Local-to-Local (L2L) information sharing initiative is to enhance the operational, investigational and crime-solving abilities of local law enforcement by integrating databases of agencies, jails and other repositories of public records. This initiative is intended to enable the effective, secure exchange of data and information across nationwide jurisdictional boundaries augmenting interoperability among local, state and federal law enforcement.
