Sloecentrale BV
www.sloecentrale.nlThe Sloecentrale is an extremely advanced gas-fired power station with a capacity of 870 megawatts. This allows two million households to meet their daily energy needs. The Sloecentrale has a very short start-up time. A trait that comes in handy in a changing energy market. Energy from natural sources (wind and sun) has boomed in recent years. This method of generation can not always guarantee continuity in delivery. This way the wind can lie down or the power requirement can peak unexpectedly. The speed of the Sloecentrale then offers a solution. The Sloecentrale is a joint venture between energy giant EDF and the Zeeland energy company PZEM N.V. The plant is ISO 14001 (environment) and OHSAS 18001 (safety) certified. Efficiency The Sloecentrale has a highly efficient generation process with a high electrical efficiency as a result. 58.7% electrical efficiency Flexibility The flexibility of the Sloecentrale ensures that we can react quickly and respond to the constantly changing demand for energy. Start-up time: 35 minutes Environment In the design of the Sloecentrale, much attention was paid to the environment. With the use of clean technology, Sloecentrale has very low NOx emissions and 50% less CO2 emissions than the average coal powerplant. Two units (STEG) each 435 MW Fuel: Natural gas Configuration: Single shaft 1x1x1 Gas turbine: Siemens SGT5-4000F 290 MW with Dry low Nox burners Steam turbine: Siemens SST5-5000 135 MW 115 bar, 540 ° C, 72 kg / s HRSG: Triple pressure CMI Boiler HP section with Benson® Technology Visiting address: Albaniëweg 10, Haven nr. 9610 4389 PR Ritthem, The Netherlands Mailing address PO Box 5009 4380 KA Vlissingen, the Netherlands T +31 118 770 000 F +31 118 770 065 E [email protected]
