For Newton Abbot Rugby Club, rugby isn’t just a game – it’s the lifeblood of our community. Founded in 1873, our club is one of the oldest in Devon. Today, Newton Abbot Rugby Club boasts two senior men’s teams, our very own thriving junior section and an league-winning women’s team. Boasting a two fully stocked bar and large marquee, we regularly host matches and community events on our grounds, where guests have the opportunity to enjoy the many facilities our club has to offer in the beautiful Devon countryside. As a fixture within our community, Newton Abbot Rugby Club is dedicated to creating an inclusive and welcoming sporting environment where everyone can come along and join in, regardless of previous experience or playing ability.
