I'm a Chemical Engineer and spent the last 19 years at Caterpillar in their diesel engine division. Since going into "semi-retirement", I have found an incredibly interesting technology that changes the chemistry of diesel fuel just before you squirt it into a diesel engine. It's a small change that allows the fuel to burn more efficiently and produce less emissions. After studying the chemistry and physics of the technology, reviewing all the lab test reports, and interviewing the manufacturer's senior management, customers, etc., I decided to throw myself into promoting this technology.
